QuestionHi Brenda
I have just sent a question to you 30 minutes ago.
As said I had the 2nd ultasound today 4/20/07, well before the 2nd ultrasound, I went to bathroom and noticed nothing special and right after the ultrasound, I went to the bathroom again and noticed some blood. I thought that it might be hurt by the ultasound sound and should not be important.
But now, 6 hours later (within this 6 hours, I had not been to the bathroom), I noticed blood, just like the last day of period on the pad, and 1mm x 5.5 mm long, this is misscarriage or the spotting from the wound/hurt of the vaginal. for your information, I had never had any spotting since conception.
What should I do now? please advise.
AnswerDear Elaine,
If it was a trans-vaginal ultrasound, you may have a bit of spotting. If the spotting continues for more than 24 hours, becomes heavier or containing tissue or clots, or becomes accompanied by pain/cramping, then go ahead and let your doctor know.
Hope that helps. Try to stay calm and be well.
Brenda
