Post-Tubal Ligation Spotting: Causes & What to Expect

I had a tubal ligation 7 years ago.  I just had a period 2 weeks ago and now all of the sudden I have light spotting-pinkish in color.  I am worried about cancer, but would prefer an unexpected pregnancy.  Any help is greatly appreciated!!!!!

This can simple be a normal pattern if you are over 40 or a manifestation of pelvic congestion due to ligation that suddenly appeared. Based on your very brief description, both cancer and pregnancy are remote although possible and therefore a detailed examination with your gynecologist is a must.
