Conflicting Pregnancy Test Results: What Does It Mean?

I took 5 at home urine tests.. all came out positive, sign darkness increasing by the day. I took 1 blood test it came out negative. Im now 10 days late for my period... and im usually really regular. My breasts are tender and im vomiting at wierd smells.  Am I pregnant?

If you have had five positive urine pregnancy tests which show a more positive reading every time you take one, I would recommend that you request a quantitative blood pregnancy test (serum beta hCG). It might be that they ran a qualitative blood test which is not much more accurate than a urine test. The serum beta hCG will give an actual amount of hCG in your bloodstream rather than a positive/negative result. Any amount over 25 mIU/ml would be considered positive for pregnancy.

I'd also recommend waiting another 5-7 days before getting that done. By then there should be no mistaking the result because you should be about 6 weeks at that point if you are pregnant.
