Faint Line, Negative Pregnancy Test? Understanding Possible Causes

Question
I took a pregnancy test this morning and it was negative.  Although I could see a faint line on the test it still said negative.  I have not been feeling right for the last few days.  I have been feeling nauseas and feeling like I am going to throw up.  I did get my period on Sept 28th.  I did not get on in October but got it again on Novermber 22nd.  Husband and I have been having sex since the week after I finished.  The pregnancy test had a real faint line I mean it was faint but I saw it but it still said negative.  I was wonder should I wait the month out or just go to my doctor and take a pregnancy test by drawing my blood.  the nausea feeling goes away throughout the day but I have it every morning.  I know usually know when my period is coming because my breast get so tender the week before and my breast are not tender and next week is the last week for me to get a period.

Answer
If your last period started on November 22, you probably ovulated on December 5 and could have become pregnant if you had sex on December 4,5,6, or 7. If you did become pregnant, a pregnancy test will not show a positive result until 14-21 days later (between December 19-26). If you do not get your period by December 26, repeat the pregnancy test. When you take the test, any faint line indicates a negative result. The lines have to dark and bold.
