QuestionOk here is a run down of whats happened to me. I took a HPT (First Response Early Test) on August 1, and got a faint faint positive... Barely there, but there. On August 3, got a darker Light positive, but still light... Went to doctors On August 4th, and got a slight positive on theirs, and 5 tubes of blood drawn.. why it was so much I dont know.. Ok, so I took the last test I had the day of my expected AF, and got a darker positive then the last two... definitely there.. and noticeable... but not as dark as the other line. So today I go back to the doc, and take another urine test, and its still light positive... Is there a problem with the pregnancy if the lines are not getting darker? Thanks for answering.
AnswerWhen was the first day of your last period? The best time to take a pregnancy test is seven days after missing your period. If you keep having equivocal tests, take two blood tests for pregnancy (Beta HCG) 48 hours apart. If there is a doubling of the results in 48 hours, it indicates a viable pregnancy.
