My cycle is of 30 -32 days.

thanks a lot in advance

ANSWER: Dear Nehra

If your cycle is 30 days, ovulation takes place around days 12-18. If it is every 32 days, then ovulation occurs between 16-20. Considering the life span of a sperm is 24 hours, then you have to have sex on days 11-21 of your cycle. Lets say day after day in the time period.

The pain u mentioned indicates ovulation which occurs once a month alternating between right and left ovaries.

The belief that urination is helpful after sex has no scientific basis and you better avoid it. If semen escapes from your vagina, it may indicate abnormal position of your cervix and this needs to be examined. my advise is to use a pillow under your back to lift your waist while having sex. This might help.

Good Luck

QUESTION: Hi,
Thank you very much for your quick response and explnatory answer.I want to ask you that as u mentioned that this pain indicates the ovulation so if in case we miss if we have sex within 12 hours when i start feeling this same pain would that help in getting concieve. And one more thing as u mentioned that semen escape can be becasue of abnormal cerivx position , i got pregnent right after my marrige (2 years back)but had to abort (only by medicines)as it was unplanned. So, do you think this can be the case or i need to consult doc and should get examined.
thank you very much :))

Answer
Dear Nehra

It is always better to be examined for proper diagnosis and online advise is not intended in any way to replace examination.
There is no correlation between your feeling of pain and planning when to have sex. If you try to program it, it won't even work. This raises your and your partner's level of anxiety and might suppress higher centers.

if you had delivered before, I Can't see any reason to worry about having another child. Ease it and don't worry about it and you will conceive shortly.

Good Luck
