Light Periods & Potential Pregnancy: What to Know

Hi I had sex march 12 and I got my period the next day ..except it was lighter and shorter it lasted 3 days ...it wasNt  light light ...but lighter then usual... So a week or 2 later I got a yeast infection but I cleared it up with monistat 1 day ..then in April my period came rite on time on the 13 ...except it's still light and the 1st day I had severe cramps...that hurted so bad...I'm really scared do u think I could be pregnant ...this is my 2 nd time having sex and I dnt have alot of sex ..the 1st time was in November nd the last time was n march those are the only time ...the sex was also protected with no rips or tears but I'm still scrared I might be pregnant ....am I??...can sex change the flow of my period

Although it seems to be a remote possibility, pregnancy represents the major concern of an abnormal cycle. You better have a transvaginal ultrasound to exclude it or you may have a pregnancy test. Other possibilities remain depending on your age. Abnormal cucle patternss are expected in late 30s and 40s.
