Wood Burning Fireplace & Pregnancy: Safety Concerns at 32 Weeks

I am worried because i do not know if exposure to heatfrom wood burning fireplace will affect my baby. i occasionally am bending down to start it or sit in front of the flames and do not know what harm this can do?

Such a question should be asked before you attempt a pregnancy not at 32 weeks.

However, at the current state of knowledge, no harmful effects are known but try to keep the exposure to a minimum.
