Infertility Journey: FSH Levels, Uterine Septum & Conception After IVF

Question
Hello,
I'm 30 years old, have regular periods, 26-28 day cycles, have been trying to conceive for four years,i had many blood works, it came out that my FSH was 11, the previous month it was 10. i took clomid 2 1/2 years ago for months, then i was transferred to infertility Dr, i had laparoscopy surgery,no endometriosis. my Dr found a septum in my uterus, after removing it,i was on estrogens for 6 weeks, had one period. i was supposed to go for intrasimination, but i found that i was pregnant immediately, my Dr thought that removing the septum might be the cause. i went back to my regular OB, when i was 36 weeks and 4 days, i gave birth to a stillborn baby,( he died  suddenly,24 hrs after a regular visit to my OB). the baby was normal genetically , weight and everything, the placenta lab result came back massive fibrin deposition,( there was no growth restriction).the Dr doesn't know if it was the reason, or a cord accident.i have been trying to conceive for 7 months now. This month i asked my infertility Dr to try clomid( day 3-7) one more month,
( never tried it after the septum was removed, FSH is 10).today is the 30th day on my cycle, i did home pregnancy test twice (-ve), no pregnancy.
,my husband is normal. my question is, why is my period delayed???.
i kept my BBT, had sex, followed my Dr instructions, what could be my problem, what can i do to concieve???it is a dream.
please ,give me some advice, please,
i live in the US

Answer
Hello Iela from the U.S.,

It is probable that you did not ovulate and therefore your cycle is late or you formed an ovarian cyst.  Your doctor needs to see you to determine what is going on and treat you appropriately.

In terms of getting pregnant, the fact is that you are young and have a good chance of pregnancy, but the elevated fSH level is worrisome.  It indicates that you have a restricted amount of time.  Once the FSH level reaches above 12, most infertility docs will recommend donor eggs with IVF.  I know you don't want that.  Rather than continue trying with a natural method such as Clomid ovulation induction or IUI, I would recommend that you go straight to IVF.  I know it is expensive, but it is the best method for getting your pregnant in the shortest amount of time, and time is not your friend.  If you absolutely don't want to do that, then IUI is the second best choice.
