Ovulation After Breastfeeding: Tracking Without a Period

Question
My son is two months and my husband and I want another baby.  I'm breastfeeding and my period has not returned.  How do I know when I'll Ovulate without a period? Please help i'm waiting for my insurance so I can't ask my OB.

Unfortunately there is no method to detect ovulation in your case except the traditional methods such as changes you can observe in cervical mucus deviating from what u used to see while breast feeding, and basal temperature measurements before leaving bed or taking morning tea...temperature shows elevation by0.2-0.3 after ovulation. other methods depend on sonographic determination or measuring some hormones in your blood...both needs your insurance.
