what keeps my period from starting this month:(
AnswerHello Tuba from Turkey,
If I understand you correctly, last month you took a complete pack of birth control pills. 4 days after the last pill, you started your period so you started a new pack of pills on the second day of your period. However, the next day, you forgot the pill so you stopped the pack completely. The period ended up lasting for 13 days and ended on May 23. I hope this summary is correct. I presume you have restarted on the pill again? In either case, there have not been enough days since your period stopped for you to have another period. If we count May 24 as the first day of your cycle, it has only been 20 days in this cycle (today is June 14). Normal cycles are 28 days long. If you are on a pill pack, you would still be taking the normal pharmaceutical pills and would not be in the sugar pills yet. So at this point, I don't think you have anything to worry about. Now, if you did not take the pill in this cycle and you have been sexually active, then there is the potential for you to become pregnant, so you will just have to wait and see. If you don't have a period by cycle day #35, then you should have a pregnancy test done.
