ANSWER: Hello Mozhi from the U.A.E.,
By "hormonal imbalance" I presume that your doctor means that your ovaries are not functioning correctly. For that reason, he prescribed the birth control pill Progyluton. This will take over the ovarian hormone function and should make you regular. This will not, however, allow you to become pregnant. Hormonal imbalance is not a side effect of the D&C, but a D&C that was overly done can cause scar tissue formation within the uterine cavity and lead to a lack of periods. A procedure called a diagnostic hysteroscopy would be needed to evaluate for that. In terms of getting pregnant, if the hormonal imbalance is caused by a dysfunctional ovarian function, then the treatment will be the use of fertility medications to induce the ovary to ovulate correctly.

QUESTION: first i want to say thank u for ur information docter. 30th day i got my second cycle. my docter advised me to take clomid 50mg at the second day of my second cycle. now i am taking that tablet. this month shall i plan for baby? plz kindly reply ur suggestions docter..
ANSWER: Hello Again,
I am assuming that your doctor has prescribed Clomid to help you to become pregnant in this cycle. So, you'll have to follow his/her instructions and protocol. I would recommend that you read my blog where I have written about how a Clomid cycle should be done so that you know whether or not your doctor is treating you correctly. In general, Clomid is not a one-time pill. It is taken for 5 days and usually those days are cycle day #3-7 or 5-9. From then some type of surveillance is done to determine if (1# you are responding to this dose, #2# how many follicles are growing and #3# when ovulation will occur. I use the ultrasound for this purpose. Clomid is NOT a magic pill. It only gives you the opportunity to become pregnant. It is a natural treatment method which means that your body still needs to do each of the 9 steps to achieve pregnancy. So it may take several attempts before pregnancy occurs #assuming that ovulation is the only problem).

QUESTION: hello Docter, 25 feb last month i inject ovitrelle 250mg. that day is my 15 th day of my cycle. from last 2 days i feel little nipple pain. sometimes i feel little pain in my abdominal. it is a symptom for early pragnancy before missed period?
AnswerHello Again,
I'm afraid I cannot tell you what these symptoms are from. It would be a little too early to have signs of a pregnancy. Implantation usually takes 7 days from ovulation to occur, and ovulation takes 36-52 hours from the Ovidrel injection to occur.
