Arm Pain & Sensitivity: Causes, Symptoms & Relief
Questioni've been trying to find answers to this problem i've been having for a few days:
my arm is very sensitive to the touch - the way a sunburn would feel. however there are no visible signs of any problems other than mild swelling. no discoloration or blemishes and it is not a burn of any sort. the pain extends from the wrist to the elbow and only on one side of the arm (i've created a picture of the affected area viewable at

AnswerGood job on the picture. With tenderness to the skin w/o injury, makes me think that the nerve has been irritated. Could be shingles, and you will develop the rash in a day or two. Could be an injury to the nerve at the elbow, shoulder, or neck level. Would try Alleve, 2 twice a day and see your doc if not better over the weekend.
Good luck with it...
