Questionhey! it's me again! thanks for the prompt and concise reply...as for the cancer, that's still in question,but there's no HIV. my question this time is about side effects with the particular medicine that you mentioned for my histoplasmosis. and will my liver need to be monitored? this is the last time i bug you...honest! thanks! ---Den--

the amphotericin B would be given as intravenous drip and it has potential toxicity to the kidney (which your doctors will monitor). if they use an azol, liver toxicity is a potential and will also be monitored.
