QuestionI'm 39 m and sometimes my left knee has a slight burning feel and I was wondering what test or procedure should I have done to find out the cause, for ex., cartilige wear. Thanks.
AnswerA slight burning feeling....if it is slight, I am not sure I would recommend any testing. Is it bad enough to take medicine for? If so, I would try a course of anti-inflammatories,like Alleve, 2 pills twice a day for a week. When someone says slight...I don't think of surgical fixes, etc. Do you keep in good shape with exercise, could you have strained it recently.... things to think about.
