Managing Sleep & Magnesium Malate: A Patient's Update

Thanks for your help. I am taking magnesium malate every day already and take calcium sometimes. I have just been taking the lunesta on and off but would like to stop taking it altogether. I will try to answer your questions..
Any dizziness, passing out, seizures or tiredness? No
Any other diseases or conditions? No
Any operations? No
Any allergies? No
Liver or kidney disease? No
Numbness, tingling in body, or parts go to sleep? sometimes foot falls asleep, and I get muscle twitches sometimes.
Trouble getting to sleep or staying asleep? Both
Age? 27
Social habits? Glass of wine a couple times a week
Living environment and work environment? Not working right now. Live with my 2 year old son and husband..

Sound like the magnesium is not working. We have found that the only magnesium that works is magnesium oxide, and it helps with insomnia if taken 500gm or more at bedtime with a calcium carbonate with Vit D.

B Complex at 50mg before each meal works for the numbness, muscle twitching  and foot falling asleep.
