Persistent Fatigue & Unusual Odor After Flu: Possible Causes & When to See a Doctor

My husband had the flu 2 weeks ago and since then he has been very lethargic and also complains of a strange metallic type odor. He is the only person who smells this.

some people can get sinus infections wtih strange tastes and odors following it... sometimes oral zinc helps... if it doesn't go away in a couple of more weeks, then he should see his doctor or an Ear nose throat ENT doctor and possibly have a cat scan of his sinus'
