Orange Juice & Milk: Best Time Between Drinks & Why Pets Smell After Outdoors

Question
For a four year old, how soon after she drinks a freshly squeezed cup of orange juice can she drink a cup of milk? I heard that orange juice and milk should not be drank too close together. Also, why is it that all people, regardless of age, and even some dogs, when they go outside even for 5 minutes they come back with a certain smell, especially in cold weather?

Answer

Not true, there is no problem since the acid helps the milk go to the clabbored stage which is required for it to leave the stomach.

Also, why is it that all people, regardless of age, and even some dogs, when they go outside even for 5 minutes they come back with a certain smell, especially in cold weather? Never noticed that, can you describe the smell?
Could it be something industrial in your area?
