QuestionHello,
My 2 year-old daughter enjoys (and demands) drinking milk with each and every meal. Is it ok for her digestion and general health? (She does not have any lactose tolerance condition and she is in excellent shape).
Thank you
AnswerHi,
No, there is no problem having milk with meals. Milk contributes valuable nutrients to toddlers, including protein, calcium, and riboflavin along with vitamin D to help her grow strong, healthy bones.
The only issue would be if she started drinking milk to the exclusion of other foods. That is, if she didn't have room to eat meats, grains, fruits and vegetables all of which contribute different valuable nutrients.
