QuestionI am researching a murder that took place in new zealand about 50 years ago one of the murderers was 15 years of age. when they went to court she pleaded insane and the defence medical person said they had no doubt she had schizophrenia the plea was rejected by the court A while before she commited the crime she also had tuberculosis in one lung and was still recovering at the time of the crime?

Not really but they may have thought that back then since if the person had TB meningitis it could look similar.

Usually a year will put it in remission today, 50 years ago it was not well treated with the drugs, people were put in sanatariums and usually died with the condition.
