Understanding Irregular Periods: Causes, Symptoms & What to Expect

Question
I had one child naturally in 2004. After his birth, I had regular menstrual cycles for almost 1 year. Also following his birth, I lost about 30 pounds (down from my highest weight of about 140 (I'm 5'4'')). My cycles at first started coming regularly at 45 day intervals, now my last cycle was almost 3 months and it has been 45 days now with no period or ovulation. I have had an extensive workup from my OB/GYN including FSH, LH, prolactin, thyroid, metabolic panel, estrogen, provera, etc...all normal. She said she has no idea what is causing my problem. However, I have been struggling with bulimia for about a year but have since started to recover. Could this be the cause of my irregular cycles? If so, with recovery from bulimia, will they resume? I want so badly to have a second child but my husband is very hesitant about using clomid. Thanks.

struggling with bulimia for about a year but have since
started to recover. Could this be the cause of my irregular cycles? Yes, most definitely.

If so, with recovery from bulimia, will they resume? Yes, but you may want to ask your doctor but this is what I use for my patients:
1) Fish oil 3000mg before each meal and at bedtime
2) High Potency B complex, (B-100) before each meal
3) Magnesium oxide 250 mg before each meal and at bed
4) Calcium carbonate with Vit D at dinner and bed
5) Vit C 500 mg before each meal
6) Vit E 400 IU twice a day
7) Cinnamon 1/4 tsp in food before each meal if over weight
