QuestionHi, when i poop, it comes out extremely dark black. Is this normal? And it takes me a LONG time to poop and it hurts when i do and i have to scream. What's wrong with me?
Answerdark black suggests there is blood in it, usually from the stomach... that should be checked for blood... and the long time suggests a sluggish bowel which could be a lot of things, sometimes, low thyroid, sometimes meds which cause constipation....a trial of an over the counter laxative like magnesium citrate liquid might help, but you should get checked.
