QuestionHi, it's me again. I have been off the reflux meds for 4 weeks and I am no worse nor better than when I was on them. Meds no matter what form, i.e.. aciphex with gaviscon did anything. Specialist said he thinks it's the stress. Can that be accurate? I just want this to stop.
Answerif reflux meds like Gaviscon and Aciphex don't help, then you need to look at other causes.... stress can be one... I can't remember whether you had your gall bladder looked at by ultrasound.... if you didn't, get that, if you did, then you might need a referral to a GI doctor for possible upper GI scoping of the stomach....
