QuestionHow can I increase my stamina?
I am a healthy woman in my 60s. I have no health problems, am not over weight, eat a healthy diet and exercise daily (walk 2 miles most days and use free weights 3 x a week). So what's the problem? I have no stamina. A few minutes of "real work" (yard work, helping a friend pack to move, housework etc) wears me out. What can I do in the way of diet or exercise to increase my stamina? Thanks Jo
AnswerHi Jo,
Thank you for your question.
The best thing that you can do for your stamina is to "just do it"-if you keep walking daily and exercising weekly-you will be able to build up your stamina.
Start slowly and work your way up.
Drinking lots of water will keep you hydrated and will help your energy level and stamina.
Thank you,
Bonnie
