IUD Side Effects: Heavy Bleeding, Pain, and Other Concerns - What to Do?

i got my IUD last year in July, since i got it I've been having heavy periods i use a box of super plus tampons in one or two days,i cant feel the sting I've been having piercing pain on my lower belly,if i stretch a lot it hurts,I'm having all the side affects....the depression,hair lost,weight gain,mood swing,insomnia and, i always have cramps during the day.what should i do?

Thanks for your question. I'm not a doctor but I would recommend getting the IUD removed. I have researched this and have heard about the side effects of the IUD. I also have read accounts from women and how they got it removed, etc. Talk to your doctor about removing the IUD. Also, if he or she doesn't want to, you can get a 2nd opinion.
