Weight Loss Advice for a 17-Year-Old: Targeting Lower Body Fat

ok im 17 and last time i weighted i was like 284 nd i wanna get to 170 or less im 6,1 and i dont think just 1 mile on the treadmill is helping i mean i need to lose not the top but bottom weight like my legs lower stomach and butt area and i need to lose that any advice?

Dear Shane, Your body will lose weight all over, not just in the top or bottom. To lose 100 pounds you are looking at least a year of commitment. Watch what you eat and exercise everyday. Try a mile and 1/2 on the treadmill, or just get out and walk for at least thirty minutes per day. Try to eat 1500-1800 calories per day. Keep track of what you eat and write down your calories.
