Irregular Periods & Possible Causes: What to Do

I am 23 years old. I have only had my period once since last August, and that was medically induced. I stopped taking the pill in September 2007. I had three operations last year for absyses. Could that be the reason? Should I be worried?

something is obviously wrong... pelvic diseases in women are very difficult to sort out.  You shouldn't be worried... you should be getting in with a good gynecologist to help them work thru this with you.... I don't have enough info with abscesses and periods, but this is worth seeing the specialist for.
