Persistent Foot and Ankle Itching: Causes & Relief

Hi, my husband has suffered for over 10 years with an uncontrollable itch in his feet and around the ankle area.  He does have fungus in his toe nails and has taken lamisil prescription for that, but has had no relief of the itching.  He doesn't have any signs of a rash.  He itches most of the night.  He's tried different types of lotions and foot creams with no relief.  Any ideas?

He probaby has some minor problem with the nerves. The fungus may have a role too. so get a handy massager and use it for 5 minutes on both feet before sleeping to tone up the nerves. Also get good treatment and regular follow up with the skin specialist for fungus.
