Questioni am an 18 year old first time mom. during my pregnancy i am experiencing a lot of swelling in my legs, ankles, and feet. when i walk for about 20 or 30 minutes my legs and feet burn and i get red spots and streaks on my legs and stuff. my feet feel like they are going to bust open they hurt so bad. i will be 6 months january 30. can you tell me why this is happening? or if i should be worried? or what could be the cause?

actually this can be normal to a point. Has your doctor/ob said anything about preeclampsia, or toxemia? you really need to tell him about all the swelling and any other symptoms you may be having, such as swelling of fingers, face, etc.. spotting, cramping, dizziness, blurred vision, etc..
