Severe Pressure During Bowel Movements in Late Pregnancy: Causes & Relief

hello,
i am 39 weeks pregnant, i know im not in labor, but when i go to make a bowel movement i have so much pressure that it makes me not want to even go. it isnt a pain from hemmeroids this is different.i have been eating fruits and veggies and i have tried most everything for constipation  is there anything else i can do? it hurts pretty bad

You can talk to your doctor about using a gentle safe stool softener like Colace if this continues to be a problem.  Fiber will help, but if you are having that much pain/pressure, then you may need a softener to help.
