QuestionHi Doctor,
I have been taking telemistran 40mg, Rosuvastatin and Clopidogrel for one and half years after my bypass surgery in Dec2009. My BP readings at home used to be around 110/60 at home but at Doctor's office it is 150/70. Home reading in the last few days is 120/62 at noon but in the evening it is 139/67. I am also diabetic but blood sugar level is under control. I do regular work out for 45 minutes five times a week.
Please advise. Thanks.

AnswerLow blood pressure is OK provided that you are not getting dizzy, especially when going from sitting to standing, etc. But, if you are getting dizzy, that is a sign of low flow of blood to the brain (for a few seconds) So, if that is occurring, you need to talk to your doctor about your meds. Often people have higher blood pressure when at the doctor's office. (White coat hypertension)
So... you need to prove that
a) your readings at home are accurate
b) that you have no symptoms of low blood pressure, ie dizziness
