QuestionDear Michael, THanks for being available. I would like to have a sketch of accupressure points to relieve sciatic pain and the length of time of application of pressure. Thanks again.
AnswerThanks for your quiry, Joan.
I am including a website for your study, http://www.altered-states.net/barry/newsletter150/points.htm , which shows accupressure points to relieve sciatic pain on the right illustration of the 7th row.
"Always use only the amount of pressure you can tolerate. Pressure on contacts should be firm but not hard enough to be acutely painful. Remember, you cannot overtreat. The longer and the more often, the better. In all severe, acute or chronic conditions, treat daily for the first week, then two or three times weekly; finally once weekly. This is determined by your own needs. Sometimes much time is necessary; other times a condition will respond so fast as to be unbelievable. When the tenderness is gone, you will know that the congestion has been relieved."

I hope that answers your need.
