QuestionQUESTION: Hello, my last lmp was 5.10.09 and my cycle is every 25 days i had intercourse on 5.15.09 with a friend and then with my boy friend on 5.21.09 witch was my ovulation day and the day after that. But then I had implantation bleeding on 6.2.09 2days before my expected period witch was 6.4.09 it didn't come I got a positive pee test on 6.6.09 I'm now 16 weeks and 3 days pregnant who is the father my boy friend or friend
ANSWER: Ammey,
Based on your LMP, you would be 17 weeks, 3 days, not 16 weeks, 3 days.
If you were 16 weeks, 3 days, then you most likely conceived around May 31st. But, you've given no indication why you think you're 16 weeks, not 17.
So, based on your last period, you most likely conceived around May 24th, making your boyfriend the father.
Best,
Catherine

QUESTION: I said I was 16 weeks and 3 days on 9.8.09 because I got a early ulterasound on 7.2.09 and she said that I was 7 weeks and 2 days but then when I went back on 7.31.09 she said I was 11 weeks 2day witch doesn't add up and then when I went on 8..22.09 she said that I was 14weeks and that I turn a week every saturday so im all confused can you please help me and do you think that I should find a new ob
AnswerAmmey,
You will have to go back to your OB, sit down, and figure out exactly how far along you are. None of these dates make sense, so either you misunderstood/misremembered what was said, or she told you incorrectly.
In terms of getting a new OB, I think your first step is to ask her questions when you don't understand something. She can't read your mind and won't automatically know you didn't understand if you don't tell her.
You can just tell her the information you gave me above, and why you are not certain how far along you are, who the father is, etc and then ask her to go back over the dates to make certain you know the correct one.
If you are asking her questions, but she's not taking the time to fully explain, then you might want to find someone else. She should be prepared to talk in a way that you understand and answer any questions you have without rushing you.
Best,
Catherine
