QuestionHello, I'm just curious as to find out some answers. I've been on BC since my husband and I got married, I remember getting off my BC and trying to concieve. The following month I bleed so much and was stuck in bed for two days. I thought maybe miscarriage, but never went to the doctors. Then I got pregnant..had my son..had my period once while nursing him at 10 months old...following month was pregnant. Nursed him till 14 months old and then I got my period back. Sorry, long story to say I haven't had a period in a really long time. It was painful on my left side near my kidney area, the GP showed I had microscopic rectal bleeding, and the majority of my pain was in my left shoulder. Everything seemed to be left sided..abdomin, back, shoulder, head. But no heavy bleeding. The next month was a little worse and then the third was okay. That leaves me here at the fourth month. Still no heavy bleeding but direct dull ache in my back area a little in the abdominal. Now I'm having pain in my right shoulder and chest pain? Does any of this sound like endo? I've been trying to do alot of research, but I just wanted to talk with someone from experience. Also, a week before I start my Bones ache in my arms and legs????
Thank you so much for your time
Brandy
AnswerDear Brandy
I am so sorry I am so late in responding...my life has been rather full lately!
Firstly, the comments I recognized first in your question, is the aching all over...I used to experience that same pain prior to my diagnosis...Endo can make you feel that way, as well as fatigue, bloating and overall drained. Endo also causes sporadic periods with light to heavy flow...
Have you had the Lap procedure yet? to determine if you have endo? That would be the best advice at this time, to see what is going on with your body. Endo can also invade many parts of your body, including your lungs, back...anywhere ( I recently read up on this topic). Also, the possibility that you have a tipped uterus can also exist. That can cause back back, especially during your period and ovulation.
I would get to your gyno asap and let him/her know of your symptoms and introduce your thoughts concerning endo. And again, the Lap procedure being the most definitive way to diagnose a problem.
I wish you luck in your search for relief. And again, I am sorry I was so late in responding.
Thanks
