Pregnancy & Paternity Concerns: Possible Father?

Question
Hi,i'v recently got some bad news, i'v just found out my partner sleep with another man while I was away, she sleeped with him on 30/11/04, 2 weeks later she took a pregnancy test and it came out possitive, now I know it's not possible for a pregnancy test to show that early.
When we had sex she rarely let me ejaculate inside her but did let the other man, does this matter? She said it happened only the once and with no one else before or after that, now, she had a full period on 15/10/04 for 7 days and comes on every 21 days but not regular, as she only stopped the pill 3-4 mths ago, her next period was due on 12/11/04 but we think she had light spotting on 15/11/04 and not all day, we cant remember when we last had sex, we deffinetly did on 8/9/10/11 of october but not sure after that.
She has already put on just over 1st or 14lbs in weight and gone from a size 8 to a 10 and deffinetly has a visible buldge, this is her 2nd child at 21 now if she had got pregnant by this other man would she be this big and put on so much weight if shes only 5 weeks 2 days pregnant to this day?

Is it possible this could be my child or not?

Answer
A pregnancy test will show a positive result if taken 14-21 days after the day of conception (intercourse). If she had sex on November 30, a pregnancy test could have been positive by December 14 (two weeks later). You have to find out the date of the first day of her last period. If her period started on October 15, she could have conceived if she had sex on October 27,28,29, or 30. Her next period should have started on November 11. If she did not get her period, and the spotting that she had on November 15 was minimal, she may have already been pregnant from conception on the days I mentioned above. Her size is not helpful, nor is her weight gain. She will have to take a sonogram to find out exactly how far pregnant she is. The sonogram will tell exactly how large the baby is and when she conceived. Then you will know who the father is.
