Understanding Brain Cysts in Developing Babies: What You Need to Know

Hi recentley during the 2nd sonagram and the 21st week of pregnacey asonogram tech discoverd what they call a cyst on the right lobe of the unborn babies brain...after reviewing blood work they tell us to neot be concerned that it will go away. Can you offer any more on this, is this something that we should be concerned with, are there any test that give us a better understanding as to what we are seeing?

Ask what type of cyst was found. Was it a "choroid plexus cyst" or some other type of cyst. Let me know. There are so many different types of lesions that I cannot comment just on the basis of your description of a "cyst that will will go away." Please get back to me.
