Questioni was told that there is another treatment that has gold fragments in it, versus radiation therapy. have you heard of this treatment? if so, where can this treatment be found and is it better than radiation?
AnswerThe only thing I can think of is that it is local radioactive isotopes that have been put there. If it is useful or not depends on the tumor so there is no general answer and I know far too little of this case to evaluate it with regards to that.
