QuestionBased on what I read, the chances are pretty low of my Fiances ex getting more child support once we are married but there is still a chance. Is there any way I can protect myself? Would I be able to file something so that doesn't ever happen? Or can I get her to sign something?
AnswerThis would be entirely up to the jursidiction where the intial action was filed. One cannot sign away one's rights. This is a question for a family law expert.
