Left Breast Pain After DCIS: Causes and What to Do

Question
Hi there. I am a 35 year old woman and had dcis in my right breast back in 2006. It was found b/c I had a solitary atypical intraductal papilloma which caused me pain behind my nipple, in my breast, and a discharge. The end result was a mx with radiation to my chest wall due to my bad margins and age. Well, now I have been having odd pains on my left breast behind and around my nipple. Kind of like prickly sensations. And, some pain in my collar bone. But, no swollen lymph nodes. Am I at risk for the same thing happening on my left side? Thank you.

Answer
Based on statistics there is a certain risk increase of that. Let a doctor check you! Good luck!
