Unexpected Bleeding on Seasonique: Causes & What to Do

Hello. I'd appreciate any kind of advice on my issue. I've been bleeding usually after sex but sometimes for no apparent reason. I'm on seasonique and have been for 2yrs now and have never had this problem. I've been tested for stds/hiv and everything came back clean (this was a month ago). I asked the gyn and she said finish this pack and if its still a problem I might have to change birth control. Why would this be happening out of the blue though? Its freaking me out. I also took a pregnancy test. Negative.

Thanks for your question. I don't know the reason you would be bleeding but I have heard of this happening. I'm not sure if this would be from the hormones in the birth control. I don't usually recommend any kind of birth control that is hormonal. I feel that it is unhealthy to be putting unnecessary hormones into your body.
