Me and My girlfriend recently found out that she is 5 weeks pregnant, and we had decided to go thru medical abortion,
abortion in this country is not legal, but we got the medical pills thru some doctors, how ever they had inserted 6 pills into her, and told her to have 6 other pills orally after almost 12 hrs, having done so.. she has not felt any cramps or bleeding what so ever .. which scares us a lot not knowing what is going on !
also this was her second abortion the 1st being a year ago that was done surgically in india.
it has been almost 24hrs after swallowing the 6 pills and she has not felt anything, no cramps, no bleeding NOTHING !

QUESTION: We live in UAE, the pills she asked her to take orally were i guess misoprostol as they looked like misoprostol and the ones she inserted in teh vagina were very small, she helped one of our friends get an abortion done which was successful so we didn't doubt the fact that she could givbe us fake pills. We spoke to the doctor today and she asked us to wait for a day to see if the bleeding has begun, If not she'd do an ultra sound, What do you think about this? She still isn't feeling any cramping.
I'd also like to inform you that after the pills were inserted in her vagina there was white spotting on the underwear

the white "discharge" are the melted inserted pills. Nothing to worry about.
Just have some patience. The mifepristone is very small and the misoprostol is octagonal.
No taste at all.
Was there an ultrasound made before the pills ? And what did the doc see

QUESTION: Hello again Docyor,
We went to the gynea today and she did an ultra sound since theer was no bleeding, she told us that the the baby had been deattached from the uterus and that there is bleeding inside however my girl friend is not bleeding because according to the doctor she had a surgical abortion a year ago which might prevent the fetus to fall and bleed. she even told us that there was no point of her taking the pills again because she thinks its not going to work. she said she gave her cytotec. she then advised us to to India for a surgical abortion. Do you think we should wait for a few days and there is a chance that she would start bleeding. there are also anti biotics that the doctor has given to prevent infection. should she start taking the anti biotics, will that help? Id also like you to know that it will be difficult for us to travel because of the expenses. however if that is the only option left we'd have to arrange for the money. Kindly advice. we feel helpless..

I cannot judge from here about what happened. What that doc gave you. if it was only Cytotec it might still come down. Take the antibiotics anyway. As long as she does not bleed there is no emergency. To see if a 5 week embryo is detached from the uterine wall by US is very difficult. I have many doubts about the whole procedure.
If nothing happens you had better go to a safe place for the abortion. India ?
What you learned is the=at you should not have unprotected sex as long as you do not want a baby
