Questionsir my wife had taken abortions pills for aborting. the bleeding takes place within 04 hours of taking the pills. we visited a gyno after that and she says all normal. but now after two months over she still having bleeding (along with clots) sometimes more and sometimes less. please help out.
AnswerI want to know if the bleeding after the abortion ever stopped or she has been bleeding continuously since then.If she has been bleeding continuously since then then she requires an ultrasound to rule out any retained products of conception( It refers to the embryo along with other small bits of tissues). If the USG shows incomplete evacuation, then she will need to undergo a D&C to completely clear the uterus.
If this is the case, I will advice you to seek a doctors opinion immediately and get a USG done at the earliest.
