Spotting While on Birth Control: Causes & When to Worry

I have been on a 3 month birth control cycle for 4 years now and have never had a problem with spotting. Now I have been spotting for the past 10 days and I am not supposed to have my period for two weeks. Should I be worried? What are some of the possible causes?

I'm not sure of all the causes of this problem. You can ask your doctor though, or birth control provider. Are you saying that you have been on the pill continuously for 4 years with no period?
