Delayed Pregnancy After Birth Control: Causes & What to Expect

I stopped taking birth control 8 months ago, my periods are regular, 28 days in a cycle. Now it seems like I can't get pregnant. Why is that? Did I screw up my system when I started taking BC?

Thanks for your question. I might have to have some more information in order to advise you. How old are you and how long have you used birth control and what kind? Hormonal methods of birth control do cause changes in your body and your cycle. But if your periods are regular, I don't know what the problem would be. Have you ever had a child? Please let me know more information because I can't advise you with what you have told me. Have you seen your doctor about this?
