QuestionHi Diane,
I was wondering what the possibilities were of me being pregnant after switching birth control. I had my son 10/26/06, and I started taking the mini-pill. At the beginning of January 2007 I started taking Ortho-Cyclen, and the beginning of Feb. 2007, I switched from that to NuvaRing.
The past few weeks I haven't been feeling well at all. I've been nauseous, tired, craving bread and sweets, sore breasts, and just feeling pregnant. Tonight I'm supposed to remove the NuvaRing and my period is supposed to start this week.
I was just wondering what the chances would be of getting pregnant while switching birth controls. Thank you so much for your help.
AnswerHi Hilary,
I'm not a medical doctor so I suggest you talk to your physician. Did you get the Nuva Ring removed yet? If not, ask the doctor at that point. It's possible that you could get pregnant in all the transitions. Those symptoms could be pregnancy but also a couple of them could just be side effects from birth control. Email me at DCHERYL51@yahoo.com if you find out anything.
thanks.
