Orth Tri-Cyclen Lo: User Experience & Dosage Concerns - A Personal Account
Questionok so i am a 20 year old female I have a 19 month old and a 6month old so of course i chose to get on BC. I was going for the chip in the arm but the Dr. suggested i do it wen i get on my period so until i got it he gave me 3 months supply of orth tri-cyclen lo I started taking it the sunday after my period every day at 9 am or sometimes later. Also i would skip a day and take 2 the following day and so forth. I stopped taking the Pill a few day before the months supply was up because i had an anxiety attack. so than my period came April 8th n i didnt take it after that period but now i'm missing may's period i am about 6 or 7 days late? did the pill mess with my cycle or could it be something else?
AnswerHi Carolina,
Thanks for your question. You could be pregnant or you could just be affected from the hormones in the birth control. I don't recommend hormonal birth control methods. I believe they are not healthy because of side effects and hormonal changes.
If you are going to take the birth control pill, please be consistent but I would like to you consider an other method. Please email me at DCHERYL51@yahoo.com so we can talk more.
