Ortho Tri-Cyclen Sunday Start: Possible Side Effects?

i wanted to regulate my crazy period so i called my nurse this past friday to let her know i wanted to start my birth control pills, i told when my last period was and she said i am not due for one til the 10th of this month so she said to do a sunday start on a new pack. well i took it about two hours ago and got mild, mild chest pains with tingles in my arm...i am not going to take it anymore cause iam not stupid, but my question is...could it be the fact i am not on my period that this is happening? i have taken bc's back in 2001 and even have taken ec's with no problem like this...so i dont understand...

Hope you are ok! That worries me what you said about the sudden side effects immediately. Was it a new kind or brand of pill than the one you took back in 2001? I'm not sure if it would be that fact that you are not on your period. I have had several questions lately about starting the pill when you're not having a period so I need to research this aspect some more. Is there a chance that you could use some other birth control method or did you mean that you are not taking it for that?
