QuestionI've done D&C procedure 2 weeks ago for abortion. I was 2 months and 1 week pregnant then.
at first, Everything went fine.. my bleeding is not that heavy, i'ts like im having my normal menstruation period.
It was moderate-light bleeding with small clots. and on this 2nd week of my bleeding im expecting it to be gone.
but suddenly the bleeding becomes heavy than to its usual. and dark colored blood. I was shocked it is supposed to be gone right?
I've read a lot of articles about incomplete abortion. but I don't have felt any symptoms of it.
I am so scared right now. Can you give me some signs and symptoms of incomplete abortion or D&C?
Do you think its normal to bleed like this? and bleed for more than 2 weeks?
if it is normal, how long will I bleed? What are the things should I do to stop the bleeding? or is there any medicines should I take?
I don't have cramps, back pain nor fever.

It's normal for bleeding to be off and on and go from light to heavy, or any variation thereof. It's ok to have bleeding for several weeks after the procedure-whether the abortion was completed or not isn't necessarily going to be able to be diagnosed just by bleeding patterns. The signs of an incomplete procedure are continual bleeding and cramping. At 2 weeks post-procedure, just as a precautionary measure, it'd be good to have a check up appointment just to make sure all the tissue has been removed-something that is often done even when an incomplete terminations isn't suspected. Ideally, your bleeding should stop after the third week.Unfortunately, there isn't anything proven you can do to STOP it-it just has to take its course, but if it's painful at all, over the counter pain medication can be a good choice.
