I just had a surgical abortion this morning (Tuesday), and I was wondering if I would be ok to drink alcohol by Saturday evening?

Hope you're feeling well! Honestly, I've never seen anything conclusive of when it's deemed "ok" to drink again. The most recent recommendation I saw was to avoid alcohol for 7 days. The concern is that it thins blood, and could lead to more bleeding. However, as long as you know the signs to look out for to know when to seek medical attention, 48 hours seems to be the best recommendation.
