Post D&C Bleeding & Possible Incomplete Abortion: What to Expect

hello doc, i was 7 week pregnant when i had d&c, on that very day i didnt bleeded much but used only one pad ,following for one week the bleeding was less than compare to normal periods,docs called me after one week and did pelvic scan they just told me to come when i again start to hav periods again ,is it that i hav incomplete abortion,some slight hazy structure was visible in my scan copy i m scared to do d&c again:)

I would think of the abortion were incomplete, they would have scheduled a D&C at your follow-up. There may have been some tissue left that they felt would be gotten rid of via routine menstrual uterine contractions, when your uterus normally sheds its lining, and they want you to come back just for a checkup.
